The blues hit yesterday. Keeping you and your family in my heart and prayers. I miss you. Thank God I can still see your sweet face and hear your amazing music, for surely I would be totally lost without them.

The last time I cried myself to sleep was Nov 13, 2016. And I cried last night on the 1st anniversary of your passing Leon. My wonderful fathers birthday is Nov 14 so I have lost two most influencial men in my life. Leon, you are a point of light and solice from the first time I saw you in the '70's. Your poetic lyrics so relavent. Bless you and please watch over us.

Leon went back to the island one year ago today. I miss his presence. Thankfully I have his music to soothe my soul. Rest peacefully, dear man. And good job!

August—saw the Bonamassa concert, too. It was great, but he identified Hummingbird as a B.B. King song, and I wanted to slap him! Totally understand the confusion, but come on—

Sorry to hear of Chuck Blackwell's death. He was a drummer par excellence and the back bone of so many of Leon Russell's recordings. In my opinion he was a key part of why Leon's live shows were so exciting. Always right on the beat.

I've made my way through Leon's latest. What an absolutely gorgeous masterpiece of an album. It's hard to pick a favorite but there are huge hits there for Streisand, Midler, Franklin, etc.

You all must be so proud.
Dip do waddy, waddy indeed!

Saw Leon and Edgar Winter at Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom on Peachtree Street in the 1970's I think. Loved Leon Live. Loved Sweet Emily.

My new "Distant Shore" CD arrived. I love it! What a most beautiful, masterful "last gift" to us all from the Master himself. A real treasure. Thank you, Leon, from ALL of your fans! We sure miss you!

Also, I looked at the items for sale on his website. I see that you are out of stock on the Leon beer mugs. Can anyone tell me if you will eventually get more? I'd like to order one. Thanks.

It took me a day to listen to the new cd, because I knew I'd cry. It is beautiful. Leon, as Claudia Lennear recently said, you were, are and always will be the greatest musician that ever lived. Thank you for this beautiful gift. I miss you so very much. Sugaree and Coco - you sound like angels and Coco, your artwork is amazing. This cd is truly a treasure!

My new Cd "On A Distant Shore" , Leon's Dream, arrived this weekend. I must say it was a bitter sweet experience to listen to Leon's last work. I highly recommend that you get this , if you have not yet ordered it. Leon's voice sounds clear and strong despite his being ill. The CD is very well made. The art work is beautiful. I was so sad to know this was his last work, but also glad that he gave us this final gift.
Thank you dear Leon! LL, Pam
