Leon,
I've been a fan since high school in the 70s. We lived in Tulsa when you were there, we see you every time you come to the central Texas area and we just can't get enough. Thank you for all of the years of great music, the highs and lows, and everything in between. You ARE the Master of Space & Time. Your Tribe Loves You. Peace. BC |

Dear Leon,
I had the privilege to hear you twice this year, in March at BB King's and at the Highline last week. I've been listening to you since 1972, and first saw you in concert in 1973. I also was able to get a ticket for the Beacon on 10/19. You are a legend, and one of the greatest of American musicians. You are loved all over the world. Best, Scott |

Dear Leon, What a joy it is to hear the cuts from The Union. Cannot wait for the CD to come out. Your voice brought back so many happy memories for my husband and I. We are soon to celebrate our 40th anniv. Your music was so much a part of our beginning. As was Eltons. Hope we will see you on the road.
God Bless |

The Beacon show sold out in almost immediately. ticket brokers on e-bay are asking for a a ton of money. $300 or more for upper balcony seating. The place only holds 2800 people. Hopefully, they will make a DVD of the concert, which would be great.

I'm bummed I wasn't able to get tickets for the Beacon Theatre show. I have been a fan since the early 70's....(really dating myself here). Great to see Elton and Leon pairing up....The new song If it wasn't for bad rocks! Can't wait for the CD release!

Leon and the Band~ This was my 4th time seeing you at Stephen Talkhouse. My friend and I were pleased that you allowed us the photo opportunity outside of your bus prior to the show. Your performance was awesome as usual, something I will never forget! Having KR in the audience as a bit of a distraction, but your coming out playing Jumping Jack Flash was a real treat. Looking forward to seeing you and Elton together.
Hugz, Alohagrl ps: see you next year in the Hamptons |

Leon, your wonderful, I have loved your songs since I was 14 yrs old. At that time I got backstage to one of your Long Island, NY concerts and gave you a kiss. I also love Mary and the song SOMEDAY, truly beautiful, it was my childhood theme song.
Love you |

The song Out In the Woods has a chant and the chant has a meaning...I'm a man gone crazy and I'm wondering around aimlessly in the woods. Does anyone know the chant? and is this meaning correct?
Thanks, Hoka Hey

I saw Leon at a small venue this past spring and he still rocks at his age.Looking forward to his forthcoming cd 'The Union'.Elton John went into the studio with his idol/mentor and so far i have heard 3 great songs from this album. It seems Leon rejuvenated Elton's career after he(ELTON) was a prisoner to his greatest hits concerts.Time for change and a new music direction.Elton has said repeatedly that Leon Russell was one of his first music influences.Leon hopefully will get his long over due recognition and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with this collaboration, including T-Bone Burnett,Bernie Taupin,Elton, etc.
